Twinflame + Priest of Urabrask + Eternal Witness + Increasing Vengeance

4-card combo · RG

Verdict

Yes — this 4-card loop generates infinite red mana, infinite tokens, and infinite magecraft triggers from a Gruul shell that already wants Eternal Witness recursion.

Increasing Vengeance copies Twinflame while both are on the stack; the copied Twinflame resolves first, creating haste tokens of Priest of Urabrask and Eternal Witness whose triggers refund the red mana and return Increasing Vengeance to hand. From there the loop is self-sustaining — each iteration costs nothing net and generates a fresh pair of haste tokens. The setup demands five specific cards including whatever two creatures prime the initial Twinflame target, so this runs in spell-slinger Gruul decks built around Zada, Hedron Grinder or Rionya, Fire Dancer that already flood the board.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

02

Steps

  1. Cast Twinflame by paying {3}{R}{R}, targeting any two creatures.
  2. Holding priority, cast Increasing Vengeance by paying its mana cost, copying Twinflame, with the copy targeting Priest of Urabrask and Eternal Witness.
  3. Resolve the copy of Twinflame, creating a token copy of Priest of Urabrask and Eternal Witness with haste.
  4. When the Priest of Urabrask and Eternal Witness tokens enter, they trigger.
  5. Resolve the Priest of Urabrask trigger, adding {R}{R}{R}.
  6. Resolve the Eternal Witness trigger, returning Increasing Vengeance from your graveyard to your hand.
  7. Repeat from step 2.

03

Result

Infinite LTB; Infinite ETB; Infinite storm count; Infinite red mana; Infinite creature tokens with haste; Infinite magecraft triggers

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Reverberate and Dual Casting are functional Increasing Vengeance substitutes if the copy spell slot needs redundancy. Rionya, Fire Dancer as commander can replace Twinflame as the token engine entirely, trimming the piece count by one. Once mana goes infinite, any damage-based outlet such as Goblin Bombardment or Purphoros, God of the Forge closes the game — the loop produces the tokens and mana, the kill still needs to be built in.
