Rally the Galadhrim's conspire mechanic does the heavy lifting: tapping Eternal Witness and Palinchron to copy the spell means both targets get hit in the same cast, producing token copies of each. The Palinchron token untaps the lands, the Eternal Witness token recovers Rally the Galadhrim from the graveyard, and the loop restarts with the tokens standing in as the conspire payment. Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait and Lonis, Cryptozoologist are the natural commanders here — both want land counts high and ETBs frequent.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

You control up to seven lands that can tap to produce at least {2}{G}{U}.

02

Steps

  1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least {2}{G}{U}.
  2. Cast Rally the Galadhrim by paying {2}{G}{U} and tapping Eternal Witness and Palinchron, targeting Eternal Witness
  3. Rally the Galadhrim's conspire ability triggers, copying it, targeting Palinchron.
  4. Resolve the copy of Rally the Galadhrim, creating a token copy of Palinchron.
  5. When the Palinchron token enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
  6. Resolve the original Rally the Galadhrim, creating a token copy of Eternal Witness.
  7. When the Eternal Witness token enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Rally the Galadhrim from your graveyard to your hand.
  8. Repeat, tapping the Eternal Witness and Palinchron tokens when casting Rally the Galadhrim instead.

03

Result

Infinite ETB; Infinite storm count; Infinite mana lands you control can produce; Infinite magecraft triggers; Infinite tapped copies of creatures you control; Infinite untap of lands you control

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Palinchron is the hardest piece to replace; Great Whale does the same untap on a slower body and is a direct swap. The loop produces infinite tapped creature tokens and infinite mana but no built-in kill — Altar of the Brood mills the table off the token flood, and Torrent Sculptor or Comet Storm close it with the mana.
