Prerequisites

Steps

Cast Nethroi either from your hand or from the command zone for its mutate cost by paying plus commander tax, if applicable, putting it on top of a non-Human creature you control.

Altar of Dementia is the kill condition here, not a generic slot — swapping it for Blasting Station hits opponents instead of libraries, and it untaps off each creature entering, fitting the same loop without changing the piece count. The loop is genuinely fragile at assembly: Nethroi costs 4GWB plus commander tax each iteration, so stax pieces that tax or restrict casting — Rule of Law, Drannith Magistrate — shut it down cold. Culling Ritual can generate the mana for the first mutate cast if the Treasure count is short, but the five-card dependency means any one removal spell mid-stack collapses the whole line.
