The engine runs on a tight sequence: Nethroi, Apex of Death mutates, gets sacrificed to Goblin Bombardment before its ETB resolves, and then that ETB returns Eternal Witness and Mitotic Slime to fuel the next iteration. Prerequisites

Steps

Cast Nethroi either from your hand or from the command zone for its mutate cost by paying plus commander tax, if applicable, putting it on top of a non-Human creature you control.

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

The loop requires all five pieces and a non-Human body to mutate onto; losing Eternal Witness collapses the recursion entirely, so graveyard hate or a Pithing Needle on Goblin Bombardment are the cleanest answers. Goblin Bombardment can be swapped for Altar of Dementia if milling the table is preferred over direct damage, keeping the death-trigger and Treasure count the same. No piece count can be trimmed — this is a full 5-card assembly, and redundancy in tutors like Fauna Shaman or Eladamri's Call matters more than redundancy in combo pieces.
