Estrid's Invocation copies Smothering Tithe, doubling the Treasure output each time Faerie Mastermind's activated ability forces a draw — four tokens per activation against two opponents who can't pay, which covers the 4 mana to loop again. The combo sits naturally in Alela, Artful Provocateur or any Aura-heavy white-blue list that already wants Smothering Tithe and enchantment recursion.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

Estrid's Invocation on the battlefield as a copy of Smothering Tithe You have at least two opponents which are unable to pay for Smothering Tithe's trigger.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Faerie Mastermind by paying {3}{U}, causing each player to draw a card.
  2. Smothering Tithe and Estrid's Invocation trigger for each opponent you have, creating at least four Treasure tokens.
  3. Activate four Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding {3}{U}.
  4. Repeat.

03

Result

Near-infinite colored mana; Infinite draw triggers for all players; Near-infinite Treasure tokens; Infinite card draw for all players

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

The floor is two opponents unable to pay; a third opponent who also can't pay makes the mana surplus generous and the loop far more resilient to incidental Treasure sacrifice. Thassa's Oracle or Approach of the Second Sun closes the game once the library empties — Faerie Mastermind draws everyone out, so the kill needs to land before an opponent reaches a win condition off their own infinite draw.
