Temple Bell + Clock of Omens + Smothering Tithe

3-card combo · W

Verdict

Yes — this 3-card loop draws every card in your library while generating near-infinite Treasure tokens, provided at least two opponents are locked off Smothering Tithe's tax.

Temple Bell draws for the whole table each activation; Smothering Tithe converts those draws into Treasure tokens from opponents who can't pay the 2 mana tax, and Clock of Omens taps two of those Treasures to untap the Bell and repeat. The combo lives or dies on the opponent prerequisite — it needs two players consistently failing to pay, which a fast white list can enforce with taxing effects but a slow one cannot.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

You have the largest library size. At least two of your opponents cannot pay for Smothering Tithe's trigger.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Temple Bell by tapping it, causing each player to draw a card.
  2. Smothering Tithe triggers for each opponent.
  3. Resolve all Smothering Tithe triggers, creating at least two Treasure tokens.
  4. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping two Treasure tokens, untapping Temple Bell.
  5. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite card draw for all players; Infinite draw triggers for all players; Near-infinite tapped Treasure tokens

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Unwinding Clock replaces Clock of Omens in artifact-heavy shells if the enchantment package gets too expensive to assemble, untapping Temple Bell during each opponent's untap step for free. The loop draws the whole table and piles up Treasure but doesn't win unaided — pair it with Thief of Sanity effects, Psychosis Crawler via a splash, or Angel of Destiny to convert the card advantage into a kill condition.
