3-card combo · RWB
Verdict
Yes — this 3-card line kills a single opponent on the spot by converting Tree of Perdition's life-swap into a lethal Spitemare trigger.

Tree of Perdition swaps its 13 toughness for a target opponent's life total, dropping that player to 13; Blasphemous Act then deals 13 damage to all creatures, and Spitemare redirects that damage straight at the same opponent. The line fits Mardu commander shells — Kaalia of the Vast, Licia, Sanguine Tribune, or any list already running Blasphemous Act as board wipe — since all three pieces pull reasonable weight outside the combo.
Recipe
How it works
01
Prerequisites
Tree of Perdition does not have summoning sickness. You have enough mana available to cast Blasphemous Act.
02
Steps
- Activate Tree of Perdition, exchanging target opponent's life total with Tree of Perdition's toughness.
- Cast Blasphemous Act, dealing thirteen damage to all creatures.
- Spitemare triggers, dealing thirteen damage to target opponent.
03
Result
Target opponent loses the game
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Boros Reckoner replaces Spitemare and does the same job; either creature works, so run both if redundancy matters. The combo targets only one opponent, so in a four-player pod a second kill condition is mandatory — Repercussion turns Blasphemous Act into a table wipe and is the cleaner closer if the list can support it.
