Emry, Lurker of the Loch + The One Ring + Arcbound Ravager
3-card combo · U
Verdict
No — this loop costs 4 mana per turn cycle and only produces a protection lock, leaving opponents alive to win through noncombat means.

Emry, Lurker of the Loch recasts The One Ring from the graveyard each turn after Arcbound Ravager sacrifices it, granting protection from everything until your next turn on repeat. The lock is real but narrow — it stops damage and targeted interaction, not mill, poison, or any win condition that doesn't target or deal damage.

Emry loops are stronger with lower-cost payoffs; Mishra's Bauble or Conjurer's Bauble recur for free or near-free rather than 4 mana per loop. If the goal is a protection lock, Diplomatic Immunity on Emry or a Teferi's Protection chain accomplishes the same thing without a three-card engine eating 4 mana each turn.
