Kenrith, the Returned King + Smothering Tithe + Primal Vigor + Anointed Procession
4-card combo · WUBRG
Verdict
Yes — this 4-card loop decks out a helpless opponent out of their library one forced draw at a time while fully refunding its own activation cost.

Kenrith, the Returned King's 3U ability forces an opponent to draw; if they can't pay Smothering Tithe's trigger, Anointed Procession and Primal Vigor stack the replacement effect to produce four Treasures instead of one — exactly enough mana to activate Kenrith again. The loop requires all four pieces simultaneously and a target who is either tapped out or choosing not to pay, which is a real constraint at a competitive table.
Recipe
How it works
01
Prerequisites
An opponent cannot pay for Smothering Tithe's trigger. Eventually the opponent will lose the game due to drawing from an empty library. You can repeat this loop with other opponents that also cannot pay for Smothering Tithe's trigger.
02
Steps
- Activate Kenrith's fourth ability by paying
, causing an opponent who cannot pay for Smothering Tithe's trigger to draw a card.
- Smothering Tithe triggers, causing you to create four Treasure tokens due to Anointed Procession and Primal Vigor.
- Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding
.
- Repeat.
03
Result
Infinite draw triggers for any number of opponents; Infinite card draw for any number of opponents
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Anointed Procession alone or Primal Vigor alone only doubles the Treasure to two, which falls one short of the 3U cost — both doublers are mandatory for the engine to be mana-neutral. If Primal Vigor is unavailable, Parallel Lives fills the same role; if Anointed Procession is missing, no white-legal equivalent replaces it in this line.
