Wolfkin Bond puts a 2/2 Wolf token onto the battlefield and gives the enchanted creature +2/+2 — that's four power and toughness spread across two bodies for five mana. The cost is too steep for competitive formats, but in casual creature-focused Commander decks, the token synergies can justify the slot.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Wolfkin Bond is a fringe inclusion at best across every format it's legal in. In Commander, it finds its most natural home in Wolf and Werewolf tribal decks or token-doubler shells where the 2/2 Wolf token pulls extra weight — Rin and Seri, Inseparable or Tovolar, Dire Overlord are the commanders most likely to want it. In Pauper, five mana for a creature buff plus a token is too slow to matter against the format's efficient threats. Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, and Vintage have no interest in a five-mana Aura that doesn't affect the board immediately in a meaningful way.

Pricing data for Wolfkin Bond isn't currently available, but as a common-rarity Aura with narrow tribal appeal, it typically sits at bulk pricing — expect to find it in a dollar bin or as a throw-in. It's not a card worth hunting down at a premium; if you need it, grab it cheap.
