We Ride at Dawn

Enchantment

Legendary creature spells you cast have convoke. (Your creatures can help cast those spells. Each creature you tap while casting a legendary creature spell pays for {1} or one mana of that creature's color.)
Whenever your commander attacks, create a 1/1 red Mercenary creature token with "{T}: Target creature you control gets +1/+0 until end of turn. Activate only as a sorcery."

We Ride at Dawn card art
We Ride at Dawn gives a creature haste and first strike until end of turn, then untaps all your attacking creatures — a combat trick that doubles as a pseudo-extra-attack setup when paired with Breath of Fury. At one mana, the ceiling is absurdly high for the cost, and Olivia, Opulent Outlaw turns every one of those swinging creatures into a treasure-generating engine that compounds with each untap.

Olivia, Opulent Outlaw

Olivia, Opulent Outlaw

40.5% of decks · synergy 0.40

Olivia, Opulent Outlaw rewards attacking with multiple creatures by creating Treasure tokens, so We Ride at Dawn's untap effect means a second wave of attackers — and a second wave of Treasures — without needing a second combat step.

02
Kasla, the Broken Halo

Kasla, the Broken Halo

16.0% of decks · synergy 0.16

Kasla, the Broken Halo cares about creatures with counters entering combat, and We Ride at Dawn's haste grant lets those creatures swing the same turn they'd otherwise sit idle, keeping Kasla's trigger density high.

We Ride at Dawn is a Commander card through and through — the untap-all-attackers effect wants a wide board and a commander that rewards repeated combat, neither of which Legacy or Vintage typically provide in a reliable shell. In Commander, it slots cleanly into any aggressive strategy that can attack with three or more creatures, with the ceiling scaling the more combat-payoff pieces you've assembled. Legacy and Vintage are legal homes on paper, but the effect isn't pushing any known competitive line in either format. Oathbreaker shares enough of Commander's multiplayer DNA that it's a reasonable pickup there too, particularly under a combat-focused planeswalker.

Price Context

Current price

$0.38 bulk tier

At $0.38, We Ride at Dawn is firmly bulk — the kind of card you pick up without thinking twice when building a combat deck. Bulk rares with niche but genuine upside tend to stay in this range unless a breakout deck pushes demand, so treat it as a low-risk include rather than a spec.
