Vulshok Battlemaster enters and immediately equips every Equipment you control onto itself — that's a potential one-shot attacker for the cost of a five-mana 2/2 with haste. The catch is Mycosynth Lattice aside, your Equipments leave when Battlemaster does, so the whole plan collapses the moment an opponent has a removal spell.

Vulshok Battlemaster is a Commander card through and through — the power of its ETB scales directly with the number of Equipments in play, and only Commander gives you the redundancy and volume of artifacts to make that count. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but irrelevant; five mana for a conditional attacker doesn't compete in those formats. Modern has the raw Equipment density to theoretically support it, but the combination of fragility and cost means it never made the cut there either. Commander is the one format where Battlemaster can walk into a stocked battlefield and end the game on the spot.
