Twitch untaps a creature or land at instant speed for two mana — functional, unspectacular on its own, but the reason it shows up in lists is the spell-copy payoff it enables. Stella Lee, Wild Card and Echo Mage both trigger off instants and sorceries, and Twitch is cheap enough to chain into those triggers without eating your whole turn.

Orvar, the All-Form
Twitch targets a permanent you control, which is all Orvar, the All-Form needs to trigger and put a token copy of that permanent onto the battlefield. Point Twitch at any cheap creature, get a free clone — it's one of the more efficient ways to feed Orvar's ability without spending extra resources.
