Tenacious Tomeseeker puts a free creature into your graveyard the moment it enters, then replaces itself on death — that's two triggers for graveyard and spell-copy engines stapled to a single two-mana body. The cost is that the payoff is purely incremental: Back for Seconds and friends do the heavy lifting; Tomeseeker just keeps feeding them.

Commander is where Tenacious Tomeseeker earns its slot — graveyard synergies, aristocrats, and spellslinger decks all want cheap bodies that generate value passively, and Tomeseeker does it twice. In Standard and Pioneer it's a fringe roleplayer at best, since those formats demand more immediate impact from a two-drop.
