Tainted Indulgence card art
Tainted Indulgence draws two cards and dumps one to the graveyard for two mana — that's the whole deal, and it's a good one. In any deck that wants cards in the graveyard, this is a strict upgrade over Divination; Oskar, Rubbish Reclaimer turns the discarded card into a free cast, making the "downside" pure upside.

Tainted Indulgence is a Commander card first and foremost — the self-mill payoffs, reanimator engines, and graveyard commanders that make the discard a feature rather than a bug are almost exclusively an EDH phenomenon. In Legacy and Vintage it's too slow and too fair; those formats have Brainstorm and Frantic Search doing more work for equal or less mana. Modern and Pioneer offer better options for graveyard-centric strategies, and the card sees virtually no competitive play there. Stick to Commander, where two-mana draw-two-and-mill is quietly excellent in the right shell.

$0.31 bulk tier

At $0.31, Tainted Indulgence is pure bulk — easy to acquire and easy to recommend without a budget conversation. Bulk rares with narrow but reliable homes tend to sit in this range indefinitely, so there's no urgency either way; just pick it up when you're placing an order.
