Stimulus Package card art
Stimulus Package turns every Treasure you make into two tokens — a Treasure and a Worker — which doubles the throughput of any artifact-token engine before you've spent a single mana activating anything. The two-mana equip cost to a Worker is window dressing; the real ask is three mana to land the enchantment, after which Academy Manufactor and Jolene, the Plunder Queen both go from good to obscene.

Best Commanders

Commanders with the highest synergy

01
Jolene, the Plunder Queen

Jolene, the Plunder Queen

35.7% of decks · synergy 0.35

Jolene, the Plunder Queen rewards opponents for attacking each other with Treasures, and Stimulus Package converts each of those Treasures into a Worker that can then equip the Package and grow even larger — the two cards form a self-reinforcing loop that turns political gameplay into a genuine threat.

02
Vazi, Keen Negotiator

Vazi, Keen Negotiator

33.8% of decks · synergy 0.32

Vazi, Keen Negotiator proliferates counters whenever you create a Treasure, so Stimulus Package doubling each Treasure trigger into two tokens means every Treasure event fires Vazi's ability twice — the counter accumulation accelerates far faster than the card count suggests.

03
Ognis, the Dragon's Lash

Ognis, the Dragon's Lash

15.4% of decks · synergy 0.14

Ognis, the Dragon's Lash makes a Treasure for every hasted creature that attacks, and Stimulus Package converts each of those Treasures into a Worker token that can swing again next turn to generate more — the attack-Treasure-Worker loop keeps the board growing alongside the mana.

Stimulus Package is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but its home is unambiguously Commander. Constructed formats have no shortage of faster, more consistent token or artifact payoffs, and a three-mana enchantment that requires a separate equip activation to move the equipped token is too slow and low-impact to compete at Modern or Legacy power levels. In Commander, the multiplayer board state buys it the time it needs, and the Treasure-token synergy density in the format — Jolene, the Plunder Queen, Academy Manufactor, and dozens of incidental Treasure makers — gives Stimulus Package a critical mass of enablers that simply doesn't exist in 60-card formats.

Price Context

Current price

$0.23 bulk tier

At $0.23, Stimulus Package is bulk by any measure — no meaningful floor to drop through, no barrier to picking up four copies. For a card with genuine combo upside in the right Commander shell, that price is essentially free, and it's unlikely to spike without a major reprint or breakout performance, but it's also unlikely to fall further.
