Stalking Drone is a 2/3 for two mana that can pump to a 4/4 by spending one generic and one Eldrazi Scion — respectable stats for the cost, but entirely dependent on having a Scion supply to burn. Without that fuel, it's a french-vanilla beater that won't survive a competitive Commander table.

Stalking Drone is a Pauper-playable common, and that's where it's most likely to see any real action — Eldrazi aggro shells in that format can generate Scions consistently enough to make the pump relevant. In Commander, it's a fringe inclusion in Eldrazi-token decks like Zhulodok, Void Gorger or Ulalek, Fused Atrocity, where Scion generation is abundant but better payoffs exist at every slot. Legacy, Vintage, Modern, and Pioneer are non-starters — Stalking Drone competes with far more powerful two-drops and offers no competitive angle outside the Scion synergy it needs to function.
