Rose, Cutthroat Raider card art
Rose, Cutthroat Raider turns every combat into a resource engine — deal combat damage, loot and create a Treasure, and you're already ahead before the turn ends. The real ceiling is pairing her with Aggravated Assault: recurring combat steps mean recurring loot and Treasures, and Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival turns those artifacts into a full attack economy.

Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival is the premier home for Rose, Cutthroat Raider because Pia's ability to sacrifice artifacts for pump and evasion syncs directly with the Treasures Rose generates, turning each combat damage trigger into a self-fueling aggro engine.

Jaws, Relentless Predator

26.5% of decks · synergy 0.24

Jaws, Relentless Predator rewards attacking, and Rose, Cutthroat Raider stacks on top — every hit nets a Treasure to power Jaws's activated abilities while the loot keeps the hand from running dry in a damage-hungry deck.

Gimbal, Gremlin Prodigy

Gimbal, Gremlin Prodigy

23.8% of decks · synergy 0.23

Gimbal, Gremlin Prodigy scales off artifacts entering the battlefield, so the Treasures Rose, Cutthroat Raider produces on each hit directly grow Gimbal's board and feed the artifact-count payoffs the deck is built around.

04
Dr. Eggman

Dr. Eggman

19.0% of decks · synergy 0.18

Dr. Eggman floods the board with artifact tokens and punishes opponents for breaking them, and Rose, Cutthroat Raider's Treasure generation slots cleanly into that density while the looting keeps the combo hand consistent.

Commander is where Rose, Cutthroat Raider earns her keep — the combination of looting and Treasure generation on combat damage is exactly the kind of incremental advantage that compounds over a long multiplayer game. She's legal in Legacy and Vintage as well, but a 3/2 for three that requires combat damage to do anything doesn't survive contact with those formats' removal density. Oathbreaker can support her in aggressive artifact builds, though the shorter game length means the value engine has less time to pay off. Everywhere outside Commander, she's an interesting card without a competitive home.

Current pricing data for Rose, Cutthroat Raider isn't available in the system, so check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for a live number before buying. Given her strong synergy scores in artifact-aggro commanders, she's worth picking up if the price is low — engines that generate both card selection and mana on combat damage tend to hold value in Commander staple territory.
