Realm Razer card art
Realm Razer hits the board and exiles every land in play — yours included — until it dies, resetting the game to a mana-zero state that punishes anyone who can't rebuild faster than you. The cost is real: a six-mana 3/2 with no immediate protection is a removal magnet, and Ashaya, Soul of the Wild in your opponent's graveyard or hand becomes a liability the moment creatures start counting as lands. Run it when you have a plan to immediately capitalize on the lockout, not as a generic stax piece.

Format Analysis

Where it lives, where it can’t

FormatVerdict
commander

oathbreaker

Commander is where Realm Razer does its real work — multiplayer tables mean more lands exiled, more opponents set back, and more chaos created by a single six-mana spell. It fits best in blink and flicker shells that can repeatedly exile and return it to reset the trigger, or in sacrifice-based strategies that control when it leaves the battlefield. In Legacy and Vintage it's too slow and too fragile to compete with the format's interaction density, and Modern has enough efficient removal that a 3/2 for six rarely survives long enough to matter. Oathbreaker can support it in the right shell, but the 20-life total and faster games narrow the window considerably.

Price Context

Current price

$0.41 bulk tier

At $0.41, Realm Razer is firmly bulk — the kind of card you pick up in a trade binder without thinking twice. Its effect is powerful enough that the price isn't going anywhere significant without a competitive-format breakout that isn't coming, so grab it cheap and don't look back.
