Pallid Mycoderm is a Commander card, full stop. In 100-card multiplayer, the token-dense boards that Fungus and Saproling tribal commanders generate make the end-step anthem actually threatening; in one-on-one formats, a four-mana 2/2 that needs a critical mass of tribal tokens to matter is too slow and too narrow to compete. Pauper is technically legal, but the format rewards efficiency Pallid Mycoderm simply doesn't have. Treat it as a Commander-only include and evaluate it strictly on how many Saprolings your deck expects to produce.
