Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor

Legendary Creature — Elf Spirit

At the beginning of combat on your turn, up to one target land you control becomes an X/X Elemental creature with trample and haste until end of turn, where X is Obuun's power. It's still a land.
Landfall — Whenever a land you control enters, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.

Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor card art
Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor turns every land drop into a combat threat — a 3/3 animated land that grows on your upkeep is real pressure at four mana. The cost is that Obuun wants a dedicated landfall shell to close games, and a Fertilid-style support package to keep the land drops flowing; slotting him into a generic green deck underdelivers.

Commander is the only place Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor is seriously played, and there he functions either as the commander of a Naya landfall deck or as a value piece in the 99 of any green-white land-matters build. Legacy and Vintage allow him technically, but a four-mana creature with no immediate board impact and a tribal identity tied to slow land synergies has no competitive footing in either format. Oathbreaker could theoretically house him, but the 20-life format rewards faster plans than Obuun supports.
