No Quarter wipes every creature without indestructible at instant speed for five mana — the ceiling is a one-sided board clear in a deck built around indestructible creatures. Outside that shell, it's a worse Wrath of God that costs more and requires setup, so the build-around constraint is real.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Commander is the only format where No Quarter earns serious consideration, and only in dedicated indestructible-matters builds — the ability to blank an opponent's combat or answer a wide board at instant speed is genuine value when your own creatures survive it. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but never played; five mana at sorcery-adjacent timing in those formats is laughable when Terminus and Toxic Deluge exist. No Quarter is functionally a Commander card and should be evaluated as nothing else.

Price Context
Current price
$0.51 bulk tier
At $0.51, No Quarter sits squarely in bulk territory — easy to pick up as a throw-in and zero barrier to testing. Bulk rares with narrow build-around requirements rarely climb without a breakout indestructible commander pushing demand, so don't expect movement.
