Jazal Goldmane card art
Jazal Goldmane turns a board of tokens or small creatures into a one-shot kill — activate it once with four or five attackers and the math ends the game. The four-mana activation cost is real, but Arahbo, the First Fang decks and any token shell that can produce wide boards will pay it without hesitation.

Commanders with the highest synergy

01
Arahbo, the First Fang

Arahbo, the First Fang

72.6% of decks · synergy 0.70

Arahbo, the First Fang is a Cat tribal commander, and Jazal Goldmane is a Cat that closes games — the creature type alone earns the slot, and the pump ability scales with every Cat Arahbo has been growing over the course of the game.

02

Ajani, Nacatl Pariah

58.9% of decks · synergy 0.58

Ajani, Nacatl Pariah builds a wide board of Cat tokens naturally, and Jazal Goldmane converts that width into lethal damage in a single combat step.

03
Arahbo, Roar of the World

Arahbo, Roar of the World

54.8% of decks · synergy 0.51

Arahbo, Roar of the World already buffs individual Cats for free each combat, and Jazal Goldmane stacks on top — a single Cat with Arahbo's eminence trigger plus Jazal's pump can delete a player before blocks matter.

04
Burakos, Party LeaderFolk Hero

Burakos, Party Leader // Folk Hero

45.6% of decks · synergy 0.44

Burakos, Party Leader // Folk Hero rewards running creatures of multiple creature types, and Jazal Goldmane fills the Warrior slot while providing a game-ending mana sink when the party is assembled and attacking.

05
Nalia de'Arnise

Nalia de'Arnise

44.1% of decks · synergy 0.43

Nalia de'Arnise goes wide with Dungeon tokens and aristocrats payoffs, and Jazal Goldmane gives that board an alpha strike mode that bypasses the need to grind life totals down incrementally.

Jazal Goldmane is legal everywhere that counts but sees essentially zero play outside Commander — the four-mana-per-attack activation is unworkable in formats where games end on turn three or four. In Commander it earns its slot exclusively in go-wide creature strategies: Cat tribal, token doublers, or any deck that regularly attacks with five or more creatures and has mana to spare in combat. Outside of those shells it's too slow and too conditional to justify the four-mana body.

Price Context

Current price

$0.31 bulk tier

At $0.31, Jazal Goldmane is bulk — you're picking it up for essentially nothing. Demand is niche enough that the price is unlikely to move unless a new Cat or token commander pushes the archetype into mainstream popularity.
