Invulnerability card art
Invulnerability makes a creature indestructible until end of turn for two mana, then bounces back to your hand — turning a single protection spell into a repeatable resource. Avatar Aang // Aang, Master of Elements and any commander that wants to survive targeted removal or combat repeatedly will run this as a low-cost engine piece rather than a one-shot answer.

Invulnerability is a Commander card through and through — the bounce-to-hand recursion only pays off across a long multiplayer game where you'll cast it four or five times. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but competes with cheaper, permanent protection like Pitch Elemental or Mana Drain strategies that simply win before recursion matters. Oathbreaker is the one other format where the slower pace lets Invulnerability shine, especially on a signature spell slot that lets you tutor it repeatedly.

Price Context

Current price

$0.28 bulk tier

At $0.28, Invulnerability sits firmly in bulk territory — pick it up without hesitation if the effect fits your deck. Bulk rares with niche recursion mechanics rarely spike unless a new commander explicitly powers them up, so expect the price to stay flat unless a future printing creates demand.
