Illusory Ambusher is a Commander card through and through — the multiplayer environment guarantees enough combat to make the draw trigger fire repeatedly, and a single alpha strike from one opponent can refill your hand entirely. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but never played; five mana for a 4/1 doesn't clear the bar in formats where the curve ends before you even cast it. Oathbreaker shares enough of Commander's multiplayer texture that the card functions there too, though the smaller deck size makes the draw less critical. Outside those formats, it's not legal and wouldn't see play if it were.
