Greenweaver Druid card art
Greenweaver Druid taps for two green mana, which is already above the curve for a two-drop creature — pair it with Umbral Mantle and you have an engine that untaps itself repeatedly for three mana while growing without bound. It's a niche card that does almost nothing outside that combo context, but inside it, the payoff is immediate and deterministic.

Commander is the only format where Greenweaver Druid sees real play, and even there it's a narrow combo piece rather than a generic ramp include. Legacy and Vintage have access to faster, more redundant combo infrastructure that makes a 2/1 creature with a tap ability uncompetitive. Modern theoretically supports it, but the absence of a tutor-dense, creature-combo shell that needs exactly this effect keeps it off the radar. In Commander, any deck that assembles mana-positive untap loops — particularly in mono-green or Elf-adjacent strategies — can slot Greenweaver Druid in as a redundant piece.

Pricing data for Greenweaver Druid isn't currently available in the system, so check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for a live quote. Given its narrow application as a combo enabler in a format where similar effects exist on more popular creatures, it has historically sat at bulk or near-bulk pricing — worth grabbing a copy inexpensively if your deck needs the redundancy.
