In Commander, four mana to tap one creature for two turns rarely swings a multiplayer game where three opponents can threaten simultaneously. Pauper is its most defensible home — the format's slower pace and fewer instant-speed answers mean a two-turn lockout on a key blocker or attacker can matter — but even there, Glimmerdust Nap competes with cheaper tap effects and loses on rate. In Legacy and Vintage, the card is simply not fast enough to exist.
