Glamermite is a 2/2 flash flyer for two mana that triggers whenever you cast a Faerie spell — payoff and body in one, which is exactly what tribal tempo decks want. It slots cleanly under Obyra, Dreaming Duelist as a curve-filler that counts toward her triggers, and while it doesn't pull off anything as explosive as a Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker line, it earns its seat by doing honest work on both offense and defense.

Commanders with the highest synergy

Obyra, Dreaming Duelist
Obyra, Dreaming Duelist is the obvious home — she pings opponents every time you cast a Faerie, and Glamermite's flash means you can drop it at end of turn to squeeze out free damage while leaving up interaction, accelerating Obyra's inevitability without sacrificing tempo.

Maralen, Fae Ascendant
Maralen, Fae Ascendant cares about stacking Faerie bodies to unlock her draw and tutor effects, and Glamermite is cheap enough to cast on curve without disrupting the mana you need to keep developing; its flash also lets you respond to a threat before it resolves and still fill out your tribal count on Maralen's end step.

Glamermite is legal everywhere, but it only truly matters in Commander, where the Faerie tribal synergies that justify it — Obyra, Dreaming Duelist, Maralen, Fae Ascendant, and similar commanders — actually exist as the engine. In competitive 60-card formats, Glamermite is too slow and too low-impact; Faerie shells in Modern and Legacy already have better options at every slot, and Glamermite's stat line doesn't clear the bar those formats demand. Standard and Pioneer give it room to breathe in a Faerie tribal shell, but the support there is thin enough that you're building around a gimmick rather than a real engine. Treat this as a Commander-first card.

$0.13 bulk tier
At $0.13, Glamermite is deep bulk — you're paying almost nothing to pick up a tribal piece that does real work in the right shell. Bulk commons with niche tribal applications don't tend to spike, so don't expect price movement, but there's also no financial risk in grabbing a playset.
