Flawless Forgery copies any instant or sorcery in any graveyard for five mana — opponent's Demonic Tutor, their Cyclonic Rift, whatever is most broken at the table. The cost is real, but Anhelo, the Painter halves it with casualty, making this one of the most abusable value spells in Grixis Commander.

Anhelo, the Painter's casualty ability lets Flawless Forgery resolve for two mana rather than five, and copying any graveyard instant or sorcery means you're almost always taking the best spell anyone has cast all game.

Flawless Forgery is a Commander card through and through — the graveyard is deep by mid-game, and five mana is trivial when you're copying a ten-mana spell someone else paid full price for. In Legacy and Vintage, the graveyards are stocked fast but five mana is an eternity, and dedicated reanimation or Past in Flames effects do the job better and cheaper. Oathbreaker sits closer to Commander in pace, so the value proposition holds there too. Outside those slower formats, Flawless Forgery is simply not legal.
