Commander is where Fiery Bombardment actually earns its slot — sacrifice-heavy decks like Korvold, Fae-Cursed King or Prossh, Skyraider of Kher generate so many creatures per turn cycle that the damage output compounds fast. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but there's no reason to run it; those formats have cleaner sacrifice payoffs and the enchantment speed is too slow. Modern has better redundancy in the same design space, so Fiery Bombardment never sees play there either. Oathbreaker mirrors the Commander case: if your planeswalker and signature spell create a sacrifice loop, this closes games.
