Fecundity card art
Fecundity turns every creature death into a card, which in a token deck means you're refilling your hand faster than opponents can process. The catch is symmetry — every opponent draws too, so you need to be dying more creatures than anyone else at the table, which Saproling Cluster and Prossh, Skyraider of Kher do effortlessly.

Commanders with the highest synergy

01
Prossh, Skyraider of Kher

Prossh, Skyraider of Kher

52.8% of decks · synergy 0.51

Prossh, Skyraider of Kher enters with a wave of Kobolds and then eats them for mana — Fecundity converts every sacrificed token into a card, turning the engine into a full refuel on the same turn Prossh hits the table.

02
Thromok the Insatiable

Thromok the Insatiable

48.9% of decks · synergy 0.48

Thromok the Insatiable demands a board full of tokens and then devours them all at once; Fecundity means that mass sacrifice draws you a new hand rather than leaving you empty after the feast.

03
Yedora, Grave Gardener

Yedora, Grave Gardener

40.4% of decks · synergy 0.39

Yedora, Grave Gardener flips nontoken creatures into Forests on death, generating a constant stream of dying permanents — Fecundity rides that loop as a draw engine that scales with every creature that hits the graveyard.

04

Polukranos Reborn

16.6% of decks · synergy 0.16

Polukranos Reborn's back half generates a fight-and-die loop that kills opposing creatures alongside itself; Fecundity converts each of those deaths into card advantage, rewarding the grind even when the kills are mutual.

05
Slimefoot, the Stowaway

Slimefoot, the Stowaway

16.1% of decks · synergy 0.15

Slimefoot, the Stowaway wants Saprolings dying repeatedly to drain opponents out; Fecundity ensures each sacrifice also replaces itself in hand, keeping the drain engine fueled deep into the game.

Fecundity is a Commander card through and through — the symmetry that makes it awkward in 1v1 formats becomes a non-issue when you're the only player at the table engineering mass creature death. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but irrelevant; three mana for a conditional draw enchantment can't compete in those environments. Commander is where Fecundity earns its slot: multiplayer dilutes the symmetry downside, and any deck built around token sacrifice or creature recursion generates so many triggers that opponents drawing one or two cards per turn is a rounding error.

Price Context

Current price

$0.99 bulk tier

At $0.99, Fecundity sits at the top of bulk pricing — cheap enough to slot into any token or sacrifice deck without a second thought. That price is stable; it's been reprinted enough that there's no scarcity premium, and the demand from Commander keeps it from dropping into true bulk territory.
