Entreat the Angels puts a board of 4/4 flying tokens into play at instant speed for as much mana as you want to spend — the miracle cost makes it absurdly efficient when you flip it off the top at the right moment. Aminatou, Veil Piercer turns that 'right moment' into a repeatable event, which is exactly why this card shows up in a third of her decks.

Commanders with the highest synergy

Aminatou, Veil Piercer
Aminatou, Veil Piercer manipulates the top of the library as a core function, letting you set up Entreat the Angels for miracle triggers on demand rather than waiting to luck into one.

Giada, Font of Hope
Giada, Font of Hope cares about every Angel that enters the battlefield, and Entreat the Angels can dump four, six, or eight of them into play at once — each one arriving into a board that Giada has already been pumping.

Aminatou, the Fateshifter
Aminatou, the Fateshifter's +1 puts a card on top of your library, which is a clean setup to miracle Entreat the Angels on your next draw — a loop that requires zero extra infrastructure.

Elminster
Elminster generates scry effects constantly, and scry-to-top is a direct line to cheating Entreat the Angels's miracle cost whenever you need a board out of nowhere.

Sephara, Sky's Blade
Sephara, Sky's Blade's alternative cost requires tapping four flying creatures, and Entreat the Angels can supply that entire prerequisite in a single cast — though the real payoff is feeding a wide flying board into Sephara's indestructibility.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Commander is the natural home for Entreat the Angels — the singleton format rewards big, splashy X spells, and the miracle mechanic rewards deck manipulation that white and blue already want to be doing. In Legacy, it sees fringe play in white-based miracle shells alongside Terminus, but the competition for top-of-library slots is stiff. Modern is technically legal but the card doesn't appear there in any meaningful way; the format is too fast for a finisher that asks for seven-plus mana to be impressive. Vintage and Oathbreaker are legal but neither format is a realistic home — Vintage ignores it entirely, and Oathbreaker's smaller deck size makes miracle less consistent.

Price Context
Current price
$0.41 bulk tier
At $0.41, Entreat the Angels is bulk — genuinely surprising for a card that generates multiple 4/4 flyers at instant speed. Pick up copies freely; there's no meaningful price floor to worry about breaking.
