Play with your hand revealed.
If you would draw a card, reveal the top card of your library instead. If it's a creature card, put it into your graveyard. Otherwise, draw a card.

Enduring Renewal turns any zero-mana creature into an infinite loop the moment you pair it with Ashnod's Altar — sacrifice, return to hand, repeat until you've generated enough mana or triggers to win on the spot. The hand-reveal cost and the rule that creatures go to your hand instead of the graveyard are real constraints, but any deck built around this card is built to ignore both.

Commander is where Enduring Renewal lives — the singleton format's abundance of sacrifice outlets and token generators gives it a reliable supporting cast, and the 100-card deck size makes the hand-reveal downside nearly irrelevant since you're typically digging for a specific combo line anyway. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but outclassed; faster, less restrictive combo engines exist and the four-mana enchantment speed is brutal in those formats. Modern technically supports it, but the same problem applies — the metagame moves too fast for a four-mana setup piece that does nothing on its own. Enduring Renewal is a Commander card wearing other format legality as a costume.

Current price
$1.75 cheap tier
At $1.75, Enduring Renewal sits in the cheap tier for a card that functions as a combo centerpiece. That price point is unlikely to drift upward without a reprint scare, but it's already accessible enough that there's no reason to wait on picking one up.
