Elvish Fury pumps a creature by +2/+0 until end of turn for one green mana, with a flashback cost that lets you do it again from the graveyard — making it a repeatable, low-investment damage multiplier in combat. The card earns its slot almost exclusively in spell-slinging or prowess-adjacent builds, and Avatar Aang // Aang, Master of Elements commanders that reward casting cheap instants will extract the most from both halves.

In Commander, Elvish Fury is a role-player, not a staple — it shows up in decks that want high spell count or repeated triggers, and the flashback means it can appear in graveyard-value packages without much setup. In Pauper, where creature pump spells are evaluated on raw efficiency, two casts for two mana at common is respectable, though it competes with spells that offer trample or other riders. Legacy and Vintage have access to too many strictly better options for Elvish Fury to see competitive play. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander: it's a fine budget inclusion in the right spell-density build, irrelevant outside of one.

Current price
$0.17 bulk tier
At $0.17, Elvish Fury is deep bulk — the kind of card you pick out of a common box without thinking twice. The flashback clause gives it a small ceiling above true throw-ins, but don't expect the price to move; supply is high and demand is narrow enough that it will stay in the bulk range indefinitely.
