Dryad's Favor gives any creature forestwalk for one green mana as a permanent Aura, which is narrow enough that you need a reason to be here. If your deck can make all opponents control a Forest — through Blanket of Night's land-type-swapping cousin effects, or in a Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth shell — it becomes evasion that can't be countered after it resolves.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Dryad's Favor is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Vintage, Pauper, and Oathbreaker, but it sees meaningful play only in Commander where forestwalk synergies have room to breathe across a 100-card singleton build. In Pauper it's technically available but forestwalk is unreliable in that format's diverse land base, and no established archetype wants it. Legacy and Vintage have zero interest — one-mana Auras that grant conditional evasion don't clear the power bar in those formats. Commander is where Dryad's Favor has any real home, specifically in green decks that pair it with global Forest-granting effects to guarantee the walk triggers every combat.

Price Context
Current price
$0.19 bulk tier
At $0.19, Dryad's Favor is deep bulk — the kind of card you pull from a common box rather than buy. That price is stable because demand is genuinely low, so don't expect movement in either direction.
