Divine Sacrament turns every white creature on the board into a bigger threat — +1/+1 per threshold counter, scaling up to +3/+3 once your graveyard hits seven cards. Three white mana is a real ask, but in any white weenie or token shell that fills the yard naturally, Divine Sacrament pulls its weight from turn three onward.

Commander is where Divine Sacrament lives. White weenie and white token strategies — Giada, Font of Hope; Adeline, Resplendent Cathar; Mondrak, Glory Dominus — can hit threshold early and suddenly present a board that's +3/+3 across the line before combat. In Legacy and Vintage, threshold payoffs face stiff competition from more explosive options and Divine Sacrament's three-mana enchantment speed is too slow for those formats. Commander is the only realistic home, and even there it's a role-player for dedicated white-creature builds rather than a universal include.

Price Context
Current price
$0.85 bulk tier
At $0.85, Divine Sacrament sits at the high end of bulk — not a throw-in, but not a meaningful investment either. The price is stable given low reprint risk and narrow demand; it's not climbing, but it won't crater further.
