Disappear bounces a creature to its owner's hand and skips your next turn — a real cost that most decks cannot afford. The exception is shells built around Wormfang Manta or similar skip-your-turn payoffs, where the downside becomes the whole point.

Disappear is a Commander card in the narrowest sense: it only matters in decks that weaponize the extra-turn or skip-turn clause, and those engines live almost exclusively in EDH. Legacy and Vintage could theoretically support it, but a three-mana bounce spell with a backbreaking rider has no competitive home in either format. In Commander, the ceiling is real but the floor is unplayable — Disappear does nothing in a generic blue deck and everything in the right combo shell.

Price Context
Current price
$0.23 bulk tier
At $0.23, Disappear is deep bulk — you'll find copies in dollar boxes without looking hard. Demand is narrow enough that the price is unlikely to move unless a skip-your-turn commander spikes in popularity.
