Wormfang Manta gives you an extra turn — the catch is it exiles itself on entry and costs you a turn when it leaves, so it only pays off if you can exploit the enter trigger without ever letting the leave trigger resolve. The cleanest answer is Scroll of Fate, which lets you manifest Wormfang Manta face-down and flip it without the exile-on-entry rider ever firing.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Wormfang Manta is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, and sees virtually no play outside of Commander — the extra-turn effect is too fragile and too narrow for Legacy or Vintage, where cheaper, unconditional extra-turn spells exist. In Commander, it lives entirely in combo decks that can dodge or blank the downside: morph shells, blink strategies that skip the leave-the-battlefield trigger, or sacrifice loops that never let Wormfang Manta touch the graveyard on its own terms. Outside of a dedicated shell, it's a trap — the lost turn punishes any deck that can't guarantee the exit condition.

Price Context
Current price
$0.55 bulk tier
At $0.55, Wormfang Manta is bulk — narrow enough that demand stays low even though the combo ceiling is real. The price is stable; this isn't a card that spikes, but it also won't get cheaper given how few printings exist.
