Burrowguard Mentor puts a +1/+1 counter on each Halfling you control when it enters, then keeps the counters flowing every time another Halfling enters after it. The payoff is real in a dedicated tribal shell, but outside of Finneas, Ace Archer and a handful of Halfling commanders, the creature type is too narrow to justify the slot.
