Bumi, Unleashed is legal across every major Constructed format but is doing essentially no work outside Commander — a five-mana legendary that animates lands is too slow and win-more for Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer, where the game is often over before you untap with him. In Standard he's a novelty at best. Commander is where he belongs: the effect is uniquely powerful at multiplayer tables, where turning 10 lands into 10 creatures in one trigger can swing a game state irreversibly. Oathbreaker is the one non-Commander format where Bumi, Unleashed could see fringe play, but the smaller starting life total and faster games make the five-mana ask harder to justify.
