Bonds of Faith pulls double duty — it locks down any non-Human creature or pumps a Human you control by +2/+2, all for two mana. In a Human tribal shell it's a flexible, cheap answer that also functions as a buff, but outside that context it's a conditional Pacifism with no upside.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |

In Commander, Bonds of Faith is worth considering only in dedicated Human tribal decks, where the enchanted creature will often be one of your own for the power boost rather than an opponent's threat. In Pauper it competes in a format where cheap removal matters, but pure Pacifism effects are generally outclassed by cards that deal with the creature outright. Legacy and Vintage have removal so efficient that Bonds of Faith never sees play. The card occupies a narrow niche across all formats: playable where Humans are the engine, ignorable everywhere else.

Price Context
Current price
$0.09 bulk tier
At $0.09, Bonds of Faith is deep bulk — the kind of card you pull from a commons box without a second thought. That price is stable because demand is narrow and supply is plentiful; don't expect movement in either direction.
