Blood Speaker
Creature — Ogre Shaman
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may sacrifice this creature. If you do, search your library for a Demon card, reveal that card, put it into your hand, then shuffle.
Whenever a Demon you control enters, return this card from your graveyard to your hand.

Blood Speaker tutors a Demon to hand at the end of every turn you sacrifice a creature — that's a free Demonic Tutor stapled to your sacrifice outlet if you have Bone Miser or any other discard-matters payoff chaining off it. The cost is real: a 3/2 for four mana is already underpowered, and the engine stalls the moment your sacrifice fodder dries up. Ardyn, the Usurper decks are the correct home; everyone else should think twice.

Ardyn, the Usurper
Ardyn, the Usurper actively rewards sacrificing creatures for value, which means Blood Speaker's tutor trigger fires repeatedly in the same turn cycle Ardyn is generating fodder — the two cards form a self-sustaining search loop that puts the best Demon for the moment directly into your hand.

Blood Speaker is a Commander card through and through — the sacrifice-and-tutor loop is far too slow and conditional for Legacy or Vintage, where four mana and a setup requirement are disqualifying. Modern could theoretically support a Demon tribal shell, but no competitive list wants a 3/2 that needs a sacrifice trigger to do anything relevant on the turn it enters. In Commander, Blood Speaker earns its slot specifically in Demon-tribal or aristocrats builds where sacrifice outlets are abundant and the Demon density makes the tutor reliably find something game-changing. Outside of those archetypes, there are faster and less fragile ways to find the creature you need.

$0.44 bulk tier
At $0.44, Blood Speaker sits firmly in bulk territory and has no realistic path to price appreciation — it's a niche tribal tutor with a narrow home. Grab as many as you need without hesitation; the financial risk is zero.
