Bewildering Blizzard blankets the board in a layer of hexproof until end of turn, protecting your entire team from targeted removal at instant speed for two mana. It's a cheap, proactive shield that punishes opponents who tap out for single-target removal — exactly the kind of insurance wide creature strategies want.
Format Analysis

Bewildering Blizzard is legal across every major constructed format but sees almost no play outside Commander, where protecting a board full of creatures from a single removal spell is worth a slot. In Commander specifically, it shines in token strategies and go-wide decks that live and die by a single attack step — one well-timed Wrath of God or spot removal chain can end your game, and Blizzard stops the targeted half of that equation. In Modern and Pioneer the effect is too situational to earn a maindeck slot, and Legacy and Vintage have far more efficient protection tools. Commander is its natural home, and even there it competes against Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention for the same role.

Price Context
Current price
$0.07 bulk tier
At $0.07, Bewildering Blizzard sits firmly in bulk territory — you're paying almost nothing for a role-player that most Commander tables will overlook. That price is stable by nature: bulk commons and uncommons don't spike unless a breakout deck adopts them as a staple, and this card isn't close to that threshold.
