Arcane Omens replaces itself the turn it enters and gives every player an extra card draw per land drop — a symmetric group-hug effect that fuels the whole table, not just you. Run it when your deck profits more from a flooded board state than your opponents do, and cut it everywhere else.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Arcane Omens is a Commander card through and through — the four-player symmetry is a feature in group-hug builds and a liability everywhere else. In Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, and Standard, paying three mana to conditionally draw one card on your opponent's turn is simply too slow and too conditional to compete. Commander is where it earns its slot: decks that punish drawing (Nekusar, the Mindrazer), profit from any draw trigger (Niv-Mizzet, Parun, The Locust God), or lean into political generosity (Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis) can convert the symmetry into a one-sided advantage. Oathbreaker follows the same logic at a smaller table, but with only one opponent the effect dilutes quickly.

Price Context
Current price
$0.10 bulk tier
At $0.10, Arcane Omens is deep bulk — you'll likely pull it from a common box before you buy one. It holds no financial value, but it costs almost nothing to test, which is the only reason to acquire it.
