Rootpath Purifier makes Terramorphic Expanse a Forest and a Plains, so the fetch always finds itself; Wheel of Sun and Moon redirects it to the bottom of the library instead of the graveyard, keeping the loop live. Stone-Seeder Hierophant untaps from each land entering, then taps to reset Terramorphic Expanse, so the cycle never stops as long as the four pieces stay on the battlefield.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

Wheel of Sun and Moon attached to you. Stone-Seeder Hierophant does not have summoning sickness.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Terramorphic Expanse by tapping and sacrificing it.
  2. Terramorphic Expanse is put on the bottom of your library instead of in your graveyard due to Wheel of Sun and Moon.
  3. Resolve the Terramorphic Expanse ability, searching your library for Terramorphic Expanse and putting it onto the battlefield tapped.
  4. Terramorphic Expanse enters the battlefield, triggering Stone-Seeder Hierophant, untapping Stone-Seeder Hierophant.
  5. Activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping Terramorphic Expanse.
  6. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite landfall triggers

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait or Tatyova, Benthic Druid convert infinite landfall into infinite draw, but both require blue — in strict green-white, Emeria Angel or Rampaging Baloths are the cleanest payoffs. Flagstones of Trokair can replace Terramorphic Expanse for a slightly different recursion path, though it demands Rootpath Purifier to make it a basic Plains first.
