Metalworker taps to convert revealed artifact cards into colorless mana; Lightning Greaves equips for free, granting haste so the fresh Metalworker token can tap immediately. Urza, Prince of Kroog spends six of that mana to clone Metalworker as a 1/1 Soldier token, then the Greaves bounce to the new token to repeat the cycle. Every loop with four artifacts in hand nets mana and a new token, flooding the board with copies of whatever artifact is the best target.

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Thousand-Year Elixir substitutes for Lightning Greaves in lists that want haste without shroud interfering with aura or equipment interactions. The loop demands artifact density to pay off — shells built around Urza, Lord High Artificer or Breya, Etherium Shaper already run the requisite artifact count and can close with Walking Ballista or Altar of the Brood once mana goes infinite.
