Yes — this 5-piece loop converts Meldweb Strider's self-destruct ability into infinite damage through Shelob's token recursion.

Shelob, Child of Ungoliant turns every creature death into a Food token copy of that creature; Maskwood Nexus makes Meldweb Strider a Sliver so Psionic Sliver's static ability grants every creature the tap-and-deal-damage outlet that kills the Strider each loop. Lightning Greaves re-equips at zero cost to give the fresh token haste and let it tap immediately, bypassing summoning sickness and keeping the chain uninterrupted.
Recipe
How it works
01
Prerequisites
Meldweb Strider is a creature.
02
Steps

, attaching it to Meldweb Strider.
- Activate Meldweb Strider by tapping it, dealing 2 damage to any target and three damage to itself.
- Meldweb Strider dies as a state-based action due to having zero or less toughness.
- Shelob triggers, creating a token copy of Meldweb Strider that is a Food artifact.
- Activate the Meldweb Strider token by removing an oil counter from it, causing it to become an artifact creature until end of turn.
- Repeat.
03
Result
Infinite damage; Infinite death triggers; Infinite LTB; Infinite sacrifice triggers
Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Basilisk Collar or Shadowspear substitutes Psionic Sliver if a non-Sliver damage outlet is preferred, but that adds a sixth piece to a combo already sitting at five. The loop produces infinite death and LTB triggers alongside the damage, so Zulaport Cutthroat or Blood Artist closes the game independently of the Strider's direct damage — useful insurance if Psionic Sliver is removed mid-loop.
