Joo Dee, One of Many clones itself and dies in the same activation, which is exactly what Pitiless Plunderer wants — each death mints a Treasure that pays the {B} to loop again. Lightning Greaves gives the fresh token haste so it can tap immediately rather than waiting a turn, removing the only meaningful setup barrier.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

02

Steps

  1. If needed, activate LIghtning Greaves' equip ability by paying {0}, attaching it to Joo Dee.
  2. Activate Joo Dee by paying {B} and tapping it, causing you to surveil 1 and then create a token copy of Joo Dee and sacrifice the tapped Joo Dee.
  3. When the tapped Joo Dee dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
  4. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding {B}.
  5. Repeat using the Joo Dee token.

Result

Infinite LTB; Infinite ETB; Infinite sacrifice triggers; Infinite death triggers; Infinite surveil

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Swiftfoot Boots covers the haste requirement if Lightning Greaves is removed, at the cost of a {1} equip each loop — still free overall given the Treasure. The loop generates infinite death and ETB but no direct win condition; Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, or Disciple of the Vault turns the sacrifice chain into a kill, and Altar of the Brood mills every opponent out on surveil.
