Enduring Renewal + Crimson Kobolds + Skullclamp + Puresteel Paladin

4-card combo · RW

Verdict

Yes — this 4-card loop draws the entire deck for free once metalcraft is online and all pieces are assembled.

Puresteel Paladin's metalcraft makes Skullclamp's equip cost 0, which lets Crimson Kobolds die to its own equipped state, trigger Enduring Renewal to return to hand, and draw two cards per loop. Three artifacts on board is the only setup tax, and Crimson Kobolds itself is a 0-mana piece, so the only real resource spent assembling is finding the enchantment and equipment. White artifact shells — Urza, Chief Artificer, Breya, Etherium Shaper, or Sram, Senior Edificer as a budget commander — run this line as a primary kill.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

You control at least three artifacts.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Skullclamp's equip ability by paying {0}, attaching it to Crimson Kobolds.
  2. Crimson Kobolds dies as a state-based action due to having zero toughness, triggering Enduring Renewal and Skullclamp.
  3. Resolve the Enduring Renewal trigger, returning Crimson Kobolds from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Resolve the Skullclamp trigger, causing you to draw two cards.
  5. Cast Crimson Kobolds by paying {0}.
  6. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite card draw; Infinite draw triggers; Near-infinite death triggers; Near-infinite ETB; Near-infinite LTB; Near-infinite sacrifice triggers; Near-infinite storm count

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Retract or Hurkyl's Recall can replace the equip loop in a storm shell if Puresteel Paladin is removed. Altar of Dementia or Aetherflux Reservoir is the standard closer once the library is empty — drawing infinite cards does nothing without a win condition stapled to the stack, and both sit comfortably in white.
