Pentavus spends 1 mana to pop off a Pentavite token, then spends another to sacrifice it back; Dross Scorpion sees the token die and untaps Sol Ring, which refunds the 2 mana spent each cycle. The loop nets zero mana on its own but fires infinite death, ETB, and sacrifice triggers — everything Marionette Master, Disciple of the Vault, or Altar of Dementia needs to close a game.

Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Sol Ring can be swapped for any artifact tapping for 2 or more colorless — Basalt Monolith or Thran Dynamo slot directly in. Any colorless artifact-heavy commander — Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Emry, Lurker of the Loch, or Breya, Etherium Shaper — assembles this faster than it looks, but the combo does nothing without a damage or mill outlet in play.
